For a variety of reasons, OmniComp still chooses to build and assemble our own pcs.

We don’t just buy and sell computers for a margin.

The biggest reason is SUPPORT. Today’s computer consumers demand higher levels of support. They expect stronger faster hardware with more complex features.

We continue to build the some of the best computers because it allows OmniComp to remain intimate with our product. When a user calls for support, it is very likely they will speak with a technician who either built that exact machine or the one before or after it. It is this fundamental intimacy that allows us to offer value where others can not.

Our computers are built with retail boxed processors that carry three year warranties direct from Intel, and AMD. Motherboards from Intel, Asus, and SuperMicro ensure the same three year coverage. Seagate hard drives vibrate less, run cooler and last longer. Sony optical devices stay aligned longer and fail less often. All power supplies begin with 350W and are AMD/ P4 approved.

Local consumers enjoy local support. If and when a pc starts acting up, just bring it in for a checkup. Show us the error and more than likely the pc will be fixed on the spot. Worst case, it will spend a night back at OmniComp. We will call you around lunch time for a pickup.

Business owners also enjoy the support. If it is a broken computer, we can fix it. If it says OmniComp on the front badge, we can fix it even faster! We won’t have to wait around on the phone holding for some technician to read a manual or send us a backordered part.
